Whats The Truth & Why This Website? – many have searched for truth throughout their lives, have stood for truth, desired truth and even died for truth, but….

What is Truth?

Well personally I really hate lies and it seems that more and more lies are told in the world today than ever before and from all sections, including sources you would not expect.

How do you know what is the truth and what is a lie? Sometimes it is very hard to know in a given situation who is telling the truth and who is not. How do we know “truth” and how do we know what is a “lie”?

I’m not referring to a particular person or persons or a situation, I just mean how is it we know about truth as a concept?

How do we know the Truth?

Well, how do we know anything really? How do we know what is right and what is wrong? What is right and wrong for you might not be what is right and wrong for me.

So, there must be an absolute authority or an absolute standard that we can compare things to or measure things against.

There is and I believe that to be the Bible.

Don’t Switch Off!

Once people see the Bible mentioned, they switch off, surf to another page or change the subject!

The Bible

I am not going to preach at you or preach to you, as I am not a preacher.

What I want you to do and what this whole new website is going to be about is to start you thinking (hopefully) and start you reading the Bible yourself (very hopefully).

If I say to you on this blog that you have to do this and that, but you must never do this or the other, that is me telling you what to do and what I think you should do.

That’s no good.

If I say to you “the Bible says…..” well that’s a totally different matter entirely.

Many people fall into the trap of saying I think this or my view is that on the matter, whereas if they said that the Bible states this or that, well there is no argument, is there?

My own personal belief is that the Bible is the word of God to everyone and that it is absolute Truth and it has been made available for you to read and learn and to be changed by it.
